I came up with this method through trial and error and have used it successfully to install it on 6 XP machines so far. After it finishes installing, reboot, run the program. Do *NOT* remove the "old" version, you overwrite what's already there (I believe the correct answer in this dialog box was "no"). The first dialog box to pop up after you run the installer again will want you to completely uninstall any previous versions of DDDL. Instead: Go to C:\Program Files\ and delete the *ENTIRE* Detroit Diesel folder, reboot, and re-install. Stop following the crack's instructions right there.

After several attempts, the way I found to work consistently was to follow the instructions included with the crack up to the point where you actually run the cracked exe, then enter ten random numbers for the key, once it says it is successfully registered, exit DDDL and reboot. That's all I wanted, just clear directions. I always include clear directions when asked, and I ask that the same be done for me. And have helped various people on this site already. I already have the crack, different versions of ddrs and dddl, cat ET, Cummins, Hino, AllData, Mitchell on Demand, VMack, VCADS, proscan, etc, with various keygens and cracks. Oh, and I come to this site with 400+ gigs of engine programs. I appreciate all hercamp has uploaded for this site, but also realize that I came to this site to give as well, and have only asked for help with installing dddl and ddrs. Please, don't misunderstand me, I am just saying that those install instructions are impossible to follow.
